Roborock was founded in 2014 and makes robot vacuums that map a home with a laser, so they clean in orderly lines rather than bouncing off the furniture. It sells in more than 170 countries and is one of the largest makers in the category.
Most of its machines mop as well as vacuum in the same pass, and the upper models empty, wash and dry themselves at the dock.
