1. Who we are
iVillage Africa, iVillage and ivillageafrica.com are trading names used by Kality Ltd, a company registered in Ghana. Your contract of sale is with Kality Ltd, trading as iVillage Africa.
Business address: House No F15 Manet Ville Spintex, Accra, GhanaEmail: [email protected]Phone/WhatsApp: 024 139 2599
2. Who can buy
We currently sell and deliver within Ghana. Individuals and businesses may purchase from us. You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. You may shop using an iVillage account or, where available, as a guest.
If you place an order for a business or another person, you confirm that you have authority to do so.
3. Products and regional variants
We sell brand-new, sealed products and accessories across a range of manufacturers — among them Apple, DJI, Ubiquiti, Sony, PlayStation, Xbox, Logitech, Anker, Starlink and others — together with digital gift cards. Unless we expressly state otherwise, products are not used, refurbished or pre-owned.
A product sold by us is the genuine product of the manufacturer named on its product page. Stock may be sourced from different international markets. Unless a specific regional version is expressly stated on the product page, the region supplied depends on available stock and cannot be selected by the customer.
Regional differences may include SIM configuration, power plugs or adapters, radio frequency bands, regulatory markings, packaging, bundled software and other market-specific features. Where a particular feature matters to you, you should verify it before ordering.
You are responsible for deciding whether the model you choose is suitable for your intended use, including compatibility with your mobile network, software or accessories. This does not affect our responsibility to supply the product we described or any legal right that cannot be excluded.
4. Availability, pre-orders and special orders
A product shown as available or “in stock” does not always mean it is physically located in Ghana at that moment. Stock may be held locally, incoming, available through our supply network, on pre-order, on backorder or specially sourced.
Where a product has a longer or specific fulfilment period, we will communicate that period before or as part of accepting your order.
5. When a contract is formed
Placing an order or completing payment does not by itself mean we have accepted your order. We may first verify stock, pricing, payment, fraud risk and other relevant details.
A binding contract is formed only when iVillage accepts the order and sends you confirmation of that acceptance.
We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance. We may also cancel an accepted order where fulfilment becomes impossible, where required by law, where there is a material pricing or product-information error, or where we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised payment. Where a refund is due, we will provide it in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.
6. Prices
Prices are displayed in Ghana cedis (GHS) and include applicable taxes unless we expressly state otherwise.
Prices may change before order acceptance, including more than once in a day, because of supplier pricing, freight, taxes and market conditions. A later price change will not normally affect an order we have already accepted.
7. Pricing and website errors
Despite our efforts, mistakes can happen. If a product is materially mispriced or contains a material specification, stock or information error, we are not required to fulfil the order on the incorrect terms simply because payment was processed.
We may offer the correct terms or cancel the order. If we cancel after receiving payment, we will refund the amount due.
8. Payment
Full payment is required before dispatch or collection. We may accept Paystack, cards, Mobile Money, bank transfer, cash at an authorised iVillage location where expressly permitted, and other methods shown at checkout.
We do not currently offer instalment plans or payment on delivery.
Why your payment shows Kality Ltd. iVillage Africa is a brand of Kality Ltd, so the Paystack payment page, your Mobile Money approval prompt, payment receipts, SMS alerts and card or bank statements show Kality Ltd rather than iVillage Africa. This is expected — it is the same company, and your order and warranty are unaffected. If you see a charge from Kality Ltd that you don't recognise, contact us at [email protected].
9. Foreign-currency cards and refunds
All prices and refunds are denominated in GHS. If you use a foreign-currency card or account, your provider may apply its own exchange rate or charges. Where we refund the correct GHS amount, we are not responsible for losses caused solely by exchange-rate movements or third-party conversion charges, except where the law requires otherwise.
10. Delivery
Delivery is free in Greater Accra, the region that covers Accra and Tema. Orders going to any other region carry a delivery charge. You see that charge at checkout, after you have entered your delivery address and before you pay, and it is the amount charged. Pickup, where it is offered, is free in every region.
The table below is about timing, not cost.
| Area / option | Typical delivery target |
|---|---|
| Greater Accra | Up to 24 hours |
| Outside Greater Accra | Up to 7 days |
| Regional pickup / designated vantage point | Up to 5 days |
These are targets, not guaranteed deadlines, unless we expressly agree otherwise. Pre-orders, backorders, special orders and internationally sourced stock may take longer.
Delivery may be carried out by iVillage or a third-party courier acting on our behalf. Our Delivery policy sets out coverage, cost and timing in full.
11. Delivery code and transfer of risk
For security, an order may be protected by a delivery code. Keep it confidential and give it to the courier only when you are physically receiving and have identified your order.
Once the correct code is voluntarily provided and the goods are handed over, delivery is deemed complete and risk passes to you, except where the law provides otherwise or the loss arose from a matter for which iVillage remains legally responsible.
12. Failed delivery and unreachable customers
You are responsible for providing accurate delivery details and a reachable phone number. If delivery cannot be completed, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you.
If we remain unable to complete delivery or obtain instructions for 30 days, we may cancel the order. Where permitted by law, any amount remaining due to you may be placed into your iVillage Store Credit balance instead of being returned through the original payment method.
Additional delivery costs caused by an incorrect address, repeated failed delivery or customer-requested redirection may be charged where reasonable.
13. Store collection
Where collection is offered, we may require your order details, collection or delivery code and suitable identification. We may refuse release if we cannot reasonably verify the collector's authority. Risk passes when the order is properly collected.
14. Cancellations, returns and statutory rights
Our commercial policy is that completed sales are final except where a cancellation, return, refund, repair, replacement or other remedy is required by Ghanaian law or expressly allowed by our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Qualifying online consumers may have a statutory right to cancel an electronic purchase within 14 days after receiving goods, subject to the exceptions and conditions provided by applicable law. Where that right applies, we will honour it.
Where no legal or expressly stated return right applies, we are not required to accept a return merely because you changed your mind, selected the wrong product, chose the wrong specification or no longer want the item.
15. Wrong, damaged or defective products
Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible. If you receive the wrong item, or a product appears damaged or defective on arrival, contact us within 3 days where reasonably possible so that we can investigate promptly.
This 3-day reporting request does not remove any statutory right that cannot legally be limited to that period. We may request photos, videos, serial numbers, packaging or diagnostic information.
16. Manufacturer warranty and repairs
A product is covered by the manufacturer's warranty for that product and that serial number, rather than by a warranty of our own. iVillage does not add a warranty and does not offer a blanket one-year store warranty. Warranty length, cover and claim procedure are set by the manufacturer and differ from brand to brand and from product to product.
We are not an authorised dealer, distributor or service centre for any manufacturer, and we do not carry out manufacturer repairs ourselves.
Customers should ensure that their product serial number and available warranty information are correctly attached to their iVillage account where that feature is available.
iVillage can assist with an eligible manufacturer warranty claim or arrange the process on your behalf. The manufacturer's own warranty rules, exclusions, diagnostics and repair or replacement decisions apply, and we cannot overrule them.
The normal remedy is repair through the manufacturer's authorised or otherwise appropriate service route. Replacement is provided only where the manufacturer, the relevant service provider, applicable law or the circumstances of the claim require it.
If parts must be ordered, repair may take approximately 2 to 6 weeks. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed completion date. We do not promise a loan device. Our Warranty policy sets this out in full, including where a claim has to be made when the brand has no service presence in Ghana.
17. Warranty exclusions and non-warranty repairs
The manufacturer's warranty exclusions apply. They vary by brand and by product, and commonly include accidental damage, liquid damage, misuse, unauthorised modification or repair by someone the manufacturer did not authorise, damage from power supply problems or third-party accessories, and consumable parts or gradual battery capacity loss.
Where possible, we may offer diagnosis or repair outside warranty for a fee. Charges will be communicated before paid repair work is authorised.
18. Repair transport and customer data
Unless iVillage supplied the wrong product, caused the relevant issue or applicable law requires otherwise, the customer bears transport costs to and from the repair location.
Before handing over any product, back up your data, remove sensitive information where practical, sign out of the account it is signed in to — such as your Apple Account, Google Account, PlayStation Network or the manufacturer's own app — disable Find My, activation lock or any other anti-theft lock if requested, and understand that a product may be erased, reset, restored or replaced during service. To the extent permitted by law, iVillage is not responsible for data loss arising from a normal repair or replacement process.
19. Refunds and iVillage Store Credit
Where a monetary refund is due, we will normally send it back through the original payment method, subject to applicable law and the capabilities of the payment provider.
Where legally permitted, you may choose iVillage Store Credit instead. This can often be made available more quickly. Store Credit may be used fully or partially on eligible future purchases, with any unused balance remaining in your account.
Store Credit is not the same as a discount code and is not ordinarily transferable or redeemable for cash unless required by law or expressly authorised.
20. Promotions and loyalty
Promotions, discount codes, bundles and rewards may have separate terms. Those specific terms apply to the promotion concerned.
We may introduce a loyalty programme in the future. Its benefits and rules will be published separately when available.
21. Business customers and tax documents
Businesses may purchase under these Terms unless separate written terms are agreed. We can issue applicable tax invoices. Where Ghanaian tax law requires a purchasing organisation to withhold tax, the customer must comply and provide the appropriate withholding documentation or certificate.
Business customers remain subject to payment before delivery unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
22. Fraud and verification
We may conduct reasonable verification on high-value or unusual transactions and may request information reasonably necessary to verify the purchaser, recipient or payment method.
We may suspend, decline or cancel a transaction where we reasonably suspect fraud, unauthorised payment, identity abuse, promotional abuse or unlawful activity.
23. Electronic communications
Transaction-related communications may be sent by email, SMS, WhatsApp, your iVillage account or another contact method you provide. These may include order confirmations, receipts, invoices, delivery information, security codes and warranty or service messages.
Marketing communications are handled separately in accordance with our Privacy Policy and your preferences.
24. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused solely by circumstances outside our reasonable control, customer misuse, incompatible third-party products or services, customer disclosure of security or delivery codes, or acts of third parties for whom iVillage is not legally responsible.
For business purchases, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss of profit, revenue, anticipated savings, business opportunity or business data.
25. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events reasonably outside our control, such as severe weather, transport or customs disruption, supplier delays, strikes, civil disturbance, government action or telecommunications outages. We will take reasonable steps to communicate material delays.
26. Complaints and disputes
We want the opportunity to resolve problems directly. Please contact [email protected] or 024 139 2599 and include your order number and relevant details.
We encourage you to give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate before formal proceedings, without affecting any legal right or remedy available to you.
27. Governing law
These Terms and purchases from iVillage Africa are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Subject to mandatory consumer rights or procedures, unresolved disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
28. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our business, technology or applicable law. The version in effect when your order is accepted will generally apply to that purchase.
