1. Delivery coverage

We deliver within Ghana, using our own personnel and third-party logistics partners. Delivery options, cost and timing depend on the address, stock availability and the type of order.

2. What delivery costs

Delivery is free in Greater Accra, the region that covers Accra and Tema. Nothing is added to your order for it.

Orders going to any other region carry a delivery charge. You see the amount at checkout, after you have entered your delivery address and before you pay, and that is the amount charged.

Pickup is free everywhere. Where a pickup point is available, collecting your order from it costs nothing, in any region.

Additional costs can arise after an order has been accepted, for example where an address was wrong or a delivery has to be attempted again. Those are covered further down this page.

3. Typical delivery targets

Area / optionTypical target
Greater AccraUp to 24 hours
Outside Greater AccraUp to 7 days
Regional pickup / designated vantage pointUp to 5 days

The table above is about timing, not cost.

These are typical targets rather than guaranteed deadlines unless we expressly confirm a guaranteed date.

4. “In stock” does not always mean physically in Ghana

Some items shown as available may be held locally, incoming, available through our supply network, on pre-order, on backorder or specially sourced.

If an item has a longer fulfilment period, we will communicate that before or as part of accepting your order.

5. Pre-orders, backorders and special orders

Delivery estimates for pre-orders, backorders and special orders vary. The estimate given for that order will apply rather than the standard delivery targets above.

Supplier, freight, customs and transport conditions can affect timing.

6. Regional pickup / vantage-point delivery

Where available, we may offer pickup at a designated point within a region to provide a faster or more practical option than direct delivery to an address.

Pickup is free in every region, including the regions where delivery to an address carries a charge. Choosing it at checkout removes the delivery charge from your order.

We will provide collection instructions when the order is ready.

7. Delivery code security

High-value orders may be protected by a delivery code.

Never give your delivery code to a courier before you are physically receiving and have identified your order.

Providing the correct code to the delivery person confirms handover. Once the correct code is voluntarily shared and the goods are handed over, delivery is deemed complete and risk passes to you, except where the law provides otherwise.

8. Recipient and address details

You are responsible for providing a correct delivery address, reachable phone number and accurate recipient details.

We may contact you to verify a delivery or request further directions.

9. Failed delivery

If delivery fails because you are unavailable or the information supplied is incomplete, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you.

Additional delivery or redirection costs caused by an incorrect address, repeated failed delivery or customer-requested changes may be charged where reasonable.

10. Unreachable for 30 days

If we remain unable to complete delivery or obtain instructions from you for 30 days, we may cancel the order.

Where permitted by law, any amount remaining due to you may be placed into your iVillage Store Credit balance rather than returned through the original payment method.

11. Inspection on receipt

Please inspect your order promptly after receiving it. If the wrong item was delivered, or it appears damaged or defective on arrival, contact us within 3 days where reasonably possible.

This reporting request helps us investigate quickly and does not remove a statutory right that cannot legally be limited to that period.

12. Delays outside our control

Delivery can be affected by weather, transport disruption, supplier delays, customs processes, government action, strikes, telecommunications outages or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where a material delay occurs, we will take reasonable steps to keep you informed.

13. Store collection

Where store or point collection is offered, we may require your order details, delivery or collection code and suitable identification. We may refuse release where we cannot reasonably verify that the person collecting is authorised.
