About the PlayStation 5
Sony's current PS5, the slim design, with 1 TB of storage. Choose the Disc Edition, whose Ultra HD Blu-ray drive plays PS5 and PS4 games on disc and 4K Blu-ray films, or the Digital Edition, which has no disc drive: games are bought and downloaded, and Sony sells a disc drive that clips onto the side if you change your mind later.
Inside they are the same console: games load in seconds from the SSD, it outputs 4K at up to 120 frames per second on TVs that support it, and the DualSense controller in the box brings haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. Astro's Playroom is already installed. Online play needs a PlayStation Plus subscription.
- Digital Edition: no disc drive, games are downloaded
- 4K gaming at up to 120 fps
- DualSense controller included
