About the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition
The same slim PS5, without the disc drive. Games are bought and downloaded rather than bought on disc, so you need an internet connection and room on the 825 GB SSD. If you change your mind later, Sony sells a disc drive that clips onto the side and pairs with the console, sold separately. Everything else is the current PS5: games load in seconds, it outputs 4K at up to 120 frames per second on TVs that support it, and the DualSense controller in the box brings haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
Astro's Playroom is already installed. Online play needs a PlayStation Plus subscription.
